Desperate times call for desperate measures. Thats what an 0-3 start and a coach on the hot seat will do to the St. Louis Rams as they have elected to bench quarterback Marc Bulger in favor of 38 year old Trent Green. The move was announced today by Ram's coach Scott Linehan. Green last played for the Miami Dolphins last season before suffering what many thought would be a career ending concussion.
"I think we'd be crazy if we didn't try something different because what we've done for the first three weeks is not working."It is never a good sign if a team decides to bench one of its only recognizable players this early in the season. It is not a good time to be a Rams fan.
