Johnson Headed to Detroit


Just days after being released by the Cincinnati Bengals Rudi Johnson has found another job. The Detroit Lions signed the veteran running back to a one year deal on Tuesday. Johnson is expected to serve as a back-up to rookie Kevin Smith at least for the time being.

To make room for Johnson on the 53 man roster the Lions cut running back Tatum Bell.
