It has been reported that Tom Brady will miss the rest of the 2008-2009 season with an torn ACL in his left knee, according to yahoo.com. Two sources told Yahoo's Michale Silver that the injury involved "serious damage". A team source was also quoted as saying "It's bad, we're going to have to play the season without him".
If the report is true, it's an absolutely crushing blow to New England. The team looked lost without him in the pre-season, where Brady missed all four games while recovering from an injured foot.
